FEEDING WILDLIFE
WHY IS FEEDING WILDLIFE A BAD IDEA?
Disease Spread
Artificial feeding grounds may make it easier for ill animals to get food - this is also a fast way to spread illness from one animal to the next.

Increased Predation
An artificial feeding ground can be a hot spot for predators to stock prey. This is an easy way for predators to get an easy meal.

Habituation
Wild animals have a natural fear of humans, feeding them reduces that natural fear. This means that they may act unnaturally toward humans and other large objects like cars and predators. Habituation can often lead to injury or even death.
